It’s been a long time since I have written on my blog. In fact last I wrote was on 31st July about my father, Dr S B Mujumdar who completed glorious 75 years of his life. What an achievement for a man to have done so much in his 75 years that too, not for his own personal self but for others. He has lived his life for others and that is what he has taught us. He says every living being on this earth including animals live for themselves; can you be different by living life for others? Can you make a difference to the world that you are living in?
And this is exactly what we have been doing at Symbiosis, living for others- Moulding personalities of young students who come to study at Symbiosis. Such that, they become true value based global citizens so that they in turn, live their life for others and contribute to the world to bring about Peace, Prosperity and harmony.
My parents also believe that being born into a certain family is not just because of destiny. It is because God wants you to be there. I have believed in all this, in values, in spirituality. What exactly is spirituality?? Is it only being religious; is it only doing pooja or worshipping God?
Many people may believe that spirituality is being religious but I believe spirituality is doing karma- Doing work assigned to you with great sincerity, dedication and commitment.
Along with karma other things are equally important. Praying is important – is it for asking God to give you things that you wish to have? No! I believe praying or going to the temple actually holds you back from doing sins because when you go to a temple, church or a mosque you feel you are accountable to the Almighty. If you are doing something wrong you feel there is someone up there who may question you.
Many people ask this question- “Do you believe in God?”
During a conversation with the legendary cartoonist Mr R. K. Laxman, when this question was asked to him, “Do you believe in God?” He replied, “Does God believe in you?”
This is something to ponder over!
Does God believe in you – each one of you reading this blog ponder over this question, introspect and I am certain you will find your own answer!!

I’ll say yes to “Does God believe in you?”
Spiritual consciousness and realization of spiritual power holds the key to this.
