As the grotesque shadows of last month’s bomb spurt slowly faded from our mind’s eye, we at Symbiosis moved onto a different plane and pace hosting in-house cultural festivals, high level International Delegations and attending Annual dinners of our Management colleges ! At the very outset, I would like to mention of the stupendous success generated by Sympulse’10 – the cultural, intellectual extravaganza hosted by Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies (Undergraduate) between 16th and 20th February 2010 held at the SCMS(UG) campus, Viman Nagar, Pune. A platform for learning, interaction, and unbelievable enjoyment, this event was themed around the pulse and the beats of a city celebrating the epitome of human civilization, the manifestation of man’s very soul, the pinnacle of ambitious vision: A City! Spread over five days of pure awesomeness, Sympulse was definitely one of the most noteworthy festivals of 2010, and was a resounding feat of planning and organization that invited universities from all over the country as well as from abroad. The festival also brought on the campus famous personalities like Riteish Deshmukh, Tarla Dalal, Neeta Lulla, Mr. Gopichand etc.
Besides this, we had the pleasure of being invited and enjoying the gala Pune Times Awards night held at the wonderful Westin a few Sundays back. Since, my attendance on such socials has drastically dipped in recent times owing to hectic work life, I truly had a fabulous time presenting awards to our city’s top restaurants, for they have with amazing ability, surprised this city with food innovations and gourmet specialties that is every foodie’s delight! What else but good food, be the true essence of quality life…

You begin your Cultural Couture post with grotesque shadows but the irony being i visited your Symbiosis for GD/PI and pune had no strict security measures.Even one of the famous hotel of your town was not interested in asking for an ID proof. What more could pune imagine of rather than some more bomb blasts and destructions.Further wont these facts affect such cultural events where universities from all over the country participate.
Culturals are a very good festival in college. I am also participated in many programs. It is an enjoyable moment and forgettable memories. I never forget that days in my life. Thank you for remembering me through this article.
